A beautifully worn vintage wooden step ladder with the exact kind of patina people try to fake now.
Originally a functional painter’s ladder, but honestly just as good now styled as a sculptural plant stand, book display, towel ladder, retail prop, or layered corner piece in a loft or studio. The aged wood, paint marks, old hardware, and softened edges give it a ton of character without feeling overly rustic or “farmhouse.”
Really good proportions too — tall enough to add height to a room, but visually light enough that it doesn’t overwhelm a space.
