The loose architectural lines, soft washes and warm tropical palette give the work a wonderfully relaxed, mid-century travel-painting feel. The orange mat and slim brass-tone frame add to its distinctly 1970s character.

An original receipt remains attached to the reverse and is dated 1977, describing the purchase of two original watercolour paintings. A vintage Trinidad & Tobago stamp is also attached to the receipt, adding a lovely piece of provenance to the work.

Presented under glass. Good vintage condition with age-related wear consistent with its nearly 50 years.
