An incredible little slice of midcentury entertaining culture — a 1960s electric warming tray with frosted spiral glass, sculptural bentwood-style handles, and the kind of quietly futuristic design that feels pulled straight from a suburban cocktail party spread in 1964.
The concentric spiral pattern under the glass gives it a distinctly atomic feel, while the pale sage-toned surface keeps it soft and elevated rather than kitschy. Even unplugged, it reads beautifully styled on a table or credenza.
Still includes its original cord, packaging remnants, and paperwork from Electricals Corporation, Bergenfield New Jersey — which honestly makes the whole thing feel even more special. Rarely do these survive with all the ephemera intact.
Would be amazing styled with barware, fondue-era entertaining pieces, or simply left out as a sculptural centrepiece.
